The power of the sea, as it smashes against Bishop's Island, County Clare, close to sunset.
Carrigaholt Castle in County Clare, shortly before sunset. The sea was rough and I took advantage of a nearby sea wall to catch a wave in action as the sun sank behind the castle - dating from the 15th century or so - which is apparently closer to a fortified manor house than a castle.
