An abandoned abbey on a cliff: Whitby, UK. Whitby is famous for a number of things, including a goth festival and being mentioned in Bram Stoker's Dracula, but the abbey itself is also famous -- a once-great Benedictine monastery, founded in the 11th century.
A dredger and the moon share the frame with the Poolbeg lighthouse at the end of the South Bull Wall, one of my favourite places in Dublin. A very happy walk with friends in the freezing cold of November 2002.
